Keyless Entry System
Keyless entry systems are an effective way to secure your rental property without the need for physical keys. These systems allow tenants and guests to enter the building using an entry code, or using their smartphones. They can also be used with intercoms that provide audio and video messages, providing numerous ways for visitors to access the building. Some keyless entry systems are cloud-based which allows them to be managed remotely and offer more advanced features.
You can install the keyless entry system in any kind of property whether commercial or residential. The hardware first needs to be installed at each entryway. The system will then need to be configured and controlled through a central console, or through a smartphone application. The keyless entry system market is expected to expand at an annual rate of 11.8 percent between 2016 and 2022 according to Technavio. The market's growth can be attributed to the growing demand for security in commercial vehicles.
Many people fear being locked out of their homes, which is why they often leave a spare key hidden in a safe spot. This practice, however can pose a serious security risk because criminals know the places people store their keys and are able to find them. Installing a keyless entry system at your residence is the best way to prevent this. This will keep you from ever being locked out of your house again.
Transponder Chip
The transponder, also referred to as "chip key" is a microchip that is located in the head of your car keys. It's among the most important security layers for your vehicle. The term "transponder" comes from the combination of the responder and transmitter and responder. This is because when the key is put into the ignition and turned on, the antenna ring of your vehicle transmits a jolt of radio frequency energy to the transponder chip. The chip responds by sending its unique identification code back to the antenna ring. The computer in the car deciphers this information and determines whether it is a valid or not.
If the key isn't transponder the vehicle will be locked. The chip is protected with an extra layer of polycarbonate which prevents it from being copied or duplicated by regular mechanical keys. Beishir Lock and Security carries a wide assortment of transponder keys at less than the price of car dealerships.
Transponder chips first started to become popular in the 80's when GM introduced them into the Corvette. This technology significantly reduced vehicle thefts because it rendered hot-wiring a thing of the past. This is a brief explanation of the workings of a chip key and If you have any questions you can contact us.
Immobiliser System

The engine immobiliser (also called the anti-theft system) is a crucial aspect of your vehicle's security. When you insert your key into the ignition switch or Smart Key fob, the transponder chip inside transmits an electronic code to the vehicle's Electronic Control Unit (ECU). The ECU verifies that the code sent by the chip matches the one it has stored and then permits the engine to start.
This is the primary method that the immobiliser of your car stops theft. If the chip's code does not match, the ECU will block the flow of current from the fuel pump relay to the injection system and block the engine from beginning. The immobiliser may also disable the starter motor or ignition coil to prevent the engine being initiated by force.
Unfortunately, this system is not foolproof. The code used to unlock the car's immobiliser can be cracked by thieves and used to start it. The most recent versions of the system employ a longer cryptographic code that will make it difficult to guess.
Since 1998, car immobilisers have been mandatory. However, a lot of cars already had rudimentary systems installed. Although immobilisers make it harder to steal a car, it does not hinder thieves from towing the vehicle away or breaking into to steal your possessions.
Key Replacement
Losing a key or remote fob is costly and stressful. Locksmiths will need to gain entry to the car, decode or run the VIN and then re-programme the new replacement to erase any signatures that have been stored on the computer for all of the keys that have been lost, stolen or damaged.
The cost of replacing a key will be more expensive if your vehicle is equipped with a transponder or security chip. The chips transmit an electronic signal to your car in order to verify that you are the driver, and allow doors to be opened or the engine to be started. The average cost of an intelligent key replacement is $160.
